The Association of Missing and Exploited Children's Organizations (AMECO) is a membership organization that includes many reputible missing children's organizations. The Laura Recovery Center is proud to adhere to the AMECO standards of conduct, which include:
Have been in continuous operation as a non-profit for 2 years prior to the organizations admission to AMECO.
Provide services to the community free of charge. Financial contribution can be solicited for general support of the NPO, but AMECO members do not charge fees for their services.
AMECO is currently developing a brochure to list the AMECO members and the services that they provide. When that brochure is completed, it will be available here.
