- To assist with and promote the recovery of missing children.
- To effectively assist and improve citizen response when a child is
determined to be missing.
- To promote the establishment of emergency preparedness action plans
in every community on behalf of missing children, through cooperative
efforts between law enforcement and citizens.
- To enable the immediate search for missing children with a mobile
recovery center.
- To offer the Laura Recovery Center Manual to citizens faced with
a missing child incident.
- To foster a Triangle Of Trust among family, citizens, and law enforcement
in all communities.
- To assist with and promote education and dissemination of information
relating to the foregoing.
The Laura Recovery Center will not, as a substantial part
of its activities, carry on propaganda or otherwise attempt to influence
legislation; nor will it participate or intervene (by publication
or distribution of any statements or otherwise) in any political campaign
on behalf of any candidate for public office.
